Golden Teacher

Golden Teacher is a present. A debt that had to be paid. The idea came at the National Portrait Gallery. Why were there only portraits of people? What about buildings? Thought about this article I wrote long ago and never managed to feel finished: Do buildings have souls? I knew that I would fail but I was going to do it anyway. // For many months it took the shape of a stranded skeleton under Hammersmith bridge but ended up being a painting. I thought the grief would banish before finishing it, but did not to the point where I felt the painting needed to go. One day while reading about Grenfell Tower, my brain flew 20/30 years forward anith the city this building will be someday. What a great teacher.
